To begin, we kindly ask that you share some initial details about your project. This allows us to assess whether our company is the right fit for your needs. Once reviewed, a member of our team will be in touch within five business days to discuss the next steps.
For me, leadership onsite has always been teamwork. Every home we build is the result of a group of skilled people working together, and the success of any project depends on how well that team communicates, supports each other, and takes pride in what they do.
I started in this industry when I was sixteen, working as a carpentry apprentice. Those early years taught me the value of hard work, precision, and problem-solving, lessons I still carry with me every day. We work outdoors, in every kind of weather, with our hands and our bodies, turning ideas into something real. That’s why I have such deep respect for this profession and for the people who choose it. That experience shaped how I see leadership now: you can’t lead well unless you understand the work, the challenges, and the craftsmanship behind it.
I’ve always believed that as a builder, my role isn’t just to oversee, it’s to support. I can’t do what I do without my team. They’re the ones bringing the plans to life, solving problems in real time, and maintaining the high standards that define every Lilac project. My job is to make sure they have what they need to do their best, clear direction, structure, and trust.
At Lilac, we don’t just talk about teamwork, we live it. Every project is a reflection of the people behind it: their skill, dedication, and pride in what they do. I want my success to be my team’s success, because none of it means anything if we don’t achieve it together.
Over the years, I’ve learned that good leadership isn’t about being above anyone, it’s about being there. I still enjoy being onsite, working alongside the team, sharing ideas, and supporting them in whatever they need. No matter how far I’ve come, I’ll always carry that I’m a chippy at heart, because that’s where it all started for me, and it remains the foundation of who I am today.
